Social Marketing Manager


Responsibilities:

- Oversee the social media team and ensure tasks are completed on a short and long-term basis.

- Supervise all activity on social media platforms that LightInTheBox.com is active on including Facebook and Twitter.

- Plan and implement long term social media strategies to grow and maintain existing communities on Facebook.

- Responsible for maintaining the company’s image and branding on social media platforms.

- Liaise with other departments to coordinate promotions and marketing opportunities.

- Write and edit creative content for Facebook and on-site promotions.

- Reports to the Director of Creative Marketing.



Requirements:

- Native English speaker with at least a conversational level of Mandarin. Other languages would be advantageous but not necessary.

- Strong sense of responsibility.

- Willing to take the initiative and plan ahead for potential problems and opportunities.

- BA degree; preferably in Management or Communications.

- Previous experience managing a small team.

- Thorough understanding of public relations and how it works on the internet.

- 2-3 years experience in Social Media Management is preferable.

- Design and Photoshop experience advantageous.

- Experience in a customer service role is a plus.
