COMPANY DESCRIPTION
The business is a mid-sized, rapidly-growing industrial manufacturing company headquartered in the Midwestern United States.
The company is looking for a Vice General Manager fluent in both Mandarin and English to manage daily operations in its factory just outside of Shanghai China (Nanhui).
The factory has 20,000 sqm in space and 300 employees. It currently operates plastic, wood and metal production for the retail display industry.
SUMMARY
Provide leadership and coordination of Asian operations and US support group.
This position’s primary responsibility is to manage production staff to deliver products on time while maintaining world class quality and competitive costs. The largest client is currently the US headquarters, but the company is currently also expanding direct sales within the APAC market. This position will be responsible for setting benchmarks and evaluating factory operations and support staff.
