Part-Time English Editor Wanted
Bare International is looking for detail-oriented content part-time paid editors and tutors to assist us in delivering high quality written evaluation reports to our major international clients. The reports are customer service-oriented evaluations submitted by independent auditors contracted by our firm.
This position requires exceptional business level English grammar, spelling, word usage, and sentence structure skills, and also the ability to recognize various dialects, colloquialisms, inflection and tone as well as the ability to find inconsistencies within narrative content.
Job Description:
1. Editing
- Check/correct report on spelling, language, grammar
- Check report on inconsistencies/contradictions
- Check report for scenario breaches, instructions not followed and flag them to the project manager
- Ensure professional lay-out
- Check relevance of information in reports
- Grade reports based on BARE standards & provide short feedback to shoppers
2. Communication
- Report mistakes found to the in-house editor and project team as well
Requirements:
If you are: Native English Speaker + Own a laptop and
1. Previous or current reporting editing experience.
2. With patient personality and strong sense of responsibility.
3. Plenty of spare time.
An initial skills demonstration will be necessary during the interview process.
