Project Manager in Heavy Industry
Responsibilities:
ANTICIPATION
? To make sure of the technical definition before starting the design.
? To work with a planning.
? To inform in due time all the people involved internally and externally
ORGANIZATION/COMMUNICATION
? To have a good dispatch of the work, and at the right time.
? To make sure that pending points with either the customer or the subcontractors will be solved in due time.
CONTROL
? To have the Cost and time control.
? To check the work progress by each team, make sure that everything is clear for them and that interface between the team are well understood
DECISION
? To consider all necessary information and advises but decide in right time.
? To inform the boss if necessary on some important points to get a decision and make the project progress smooth.
RESPONSIBILITY
? To accept challenges.
? To be flexible and to be able to either find or adapt solutions in front of unforeseen situation.
ANIMATION
? To make sure that the communication through the team is good.
? To manage the team to make the work as efficient as possible.
REPORTING
? To be able to summarise the project situation and to make regular reporting.
? To be able to know at any time the expenses level on each main part of the project: design, procurement, supervision…
? To make proposals to solve the problems.
Education Background:
? EDUCATION: Candidates with a Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent.
? LANGUAGES: Fluent English / Second Language(French) appreciated.
EXPERIENCE:
? Minimum 5 years in a similar position and Lead a team;
? Travel regularly
? Provide support to other department
? Adaptable (Able to handle the changes of various market environment and international customers).
