Project Coordinator & Translator
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Native speaker of English or Western European language
2. Fluent to expert level in spoken and written Chinese Mandarin
3. resides in Shanghai or willing and able to relocate to Shanghai
4. strong interest in learning and developing a career in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
5. strong work ethic and sense of responsibility. Fast learner. Strong interest in the Chinese culture and willing to travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is an entry level position for candidates interested in learning and developing a career in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. This position is to assist the coordination and communication between Western and Chinese companies in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. It will be fast paced, small company environment that exposes you to many different aspects of chemical and pharma industry, especially the import of western pharmaceuticals to China. Native in English or Western European languages, and fluent to expert fluency in written and spoken Mandarin are essential requirements. You will need to translate and evaluate contracts and technical documents in both English and Chinese. You will develop the skills and confidence instrumental in negotiating deals between senior management and owners of Western and Chinese chemical and pharma companies.
