With the increasing size and complexity of the global business Ermenegildo Zegna has embarked upon a reengineering of internal systems and processes including the implementing an SAP system for finance and accounting.

 

JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Following a 3 months training period in Switzerland, the IFPC Specialist based in Shanghai, will liaise with Zegna Finance Head Quarter’s operational leadership team.He/she will be responsible for providing IFPC active and progressive support to the Finance teams in regards to the new integrated accounting system (SAP) within the Asia business area. He/she will act as a local key account for the new integrated accounting system ensuring change and configuration management is being locally carried out in the most efficient and effective manner.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·    Develop charts of account (opening new accounts and closing no more useful accounts)

·    Maintain Suppliers & Customers Master Data

·    Administer accountancy settings (VAT codes, withholdings tax codes, payment terms and conditions, etc…)

·    Manage assets categories and depreciation/amortization percentages

·    Produce SAP financial reporting

·    Ensure either resolution or escalation in respect to queries and issues is being provided

·    Co-ordinate statutory accounts

 

Skills / Attributes Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field is required; MBA preferred
  • 3-5 years of GL or Finance related experience

· Technical knowledge of key systems - SAP, Cognos or J. D. Edwards Fluent English speaker and writer

· Strong communication skills – both written and verbal

· Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization

· Excellent active listening skills

· Problem solving and root cause identification skills

· Must be a team player and able to work with others

· Must be available for an initial 3 months training period in Switzerland (Europe)
