LifeLine Shanghai is a community-based non profit, organization that relies on volunteers to provide its telephone service, we will be having our New Volunteers Training (NVT) in June 2011 and we are currently seeking for potential candidates. Telephone volunteers must be at least 21 years old, have lived in Shanghai for at least six months, have lived abroad and be fluent in English. We are seeking volunteers of all nationalities who are prepared to: - Undertake training (3 days - 9 AM to 5 PM) and posses the qualities below: - Good communication skills
- Fulfill shifts on a regular basis (a minimum of two shifts/month)
- Work within the mission, vision, and values of LifeLine Shanghai
- Good listening skills
- A non-judgmental attitude
