Family Doctor (Part-Time) and (Full-Time)
Qualifications:
Board Certified/Board Eligible (or equivalent) in Family Medicine or Equivalent
Education and/or Experience:
Responsibilities:
l Examine, diagnose and treat acute and chronic diseases and injuries within the scope of Family Medicine in both the outpatient and inpatient setting.
l Prepare and review case histories and obtain data through interviews. Examine patients and determine x-ray examination and clinical laboratory tests required. Interpret test results and evaluate examination findings.
l Conduct ward rounds and prescribe therapy. Administer and prescribe treatment such as antibiotics, drugs, and compresses.
l Perform minor surgical procedures. Determine need for and assist in specialized medical care and treatment.
l Work on quality improvement activities within the department in collaboration with other Family Medicine Physicians and Chief Medical Officer.
l Work closely with the Chief Medical Officer in supporting facility goals
l May be granted additional responsibilities based on consultation with Chief Medical Officer
