Ivy Elite Education (IEE) is a Hong Kong-based secondary education provider. Our school in Shenzhen, China offers Chinese students a rigorous, American-curriculum high school education and prepares them for universities abroad. IEE’s dedicated staff members work together to create a truly global education experience for all our students.
We are currently seeking the following:
Subject Teachers
· one English literature teacher
· one Math teacher
· one Physics teacher
· one Chemistry teacher
· one General Science/Biology teacher
· one Spanish teacher
· one French teacher
ESL / Test Preparation Teachers
· two TOEFL teachers
· two SAT / ACT teachers
Teachers are responsible for approximately 20 classes a week (50 minutes/class). We are looking for teachers who are energetic, creative, and have a passion for teaching! Class sizes in our school are small (less than 20 students per class), so this is a great opportunity to work with a small, dedicated group of students. Our students are respectful and focused on going abroad for university. Our curriculum gives teachers a lot of flexibility and room for creativity in the way that they teach, while maintaining the standards of an international syllabus.
For subject teacher candidates, we require:
· A university degree which includes papers or a major in the subject to be taught
· Applicants with subject teaching experience will be given priority
For Test Preparation teacher candidates, we require:
· A university degree
· A recent (within 5 years), official score in the test (TOEFL, SAT, and/or ACT) or the willingness to take the exam
· Applicants with test preparation teaching experience will be given priority
