Position available for someone who can promote our web properties, businesses, and events through various channels. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbal, must be a people-oriented person: enthusiastic and energetic, enjoying responsibilities and able to take own initiatives. The successful candidate will also know how to navigate the internet, how to track results of online campaigns, be able to write clear, concise copy in English, Chinese is a plus. Connection with Shanghai Media is preferable.
This is not a sales position but it does require you to communicate with clients often. It is a very marketing oriented position and we request that candidates must be extroverted individuals.
We want somebody to focus on ShanghaiExpat.com and Yang Ma Advertising Co. and help us in shaping our efforts to maximize our advertising resources and penetrate new markets.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
? Design, implement and facilitate annual marketing plan for the company
? Create and administer the companies annual Marketing budget
? Create branding, research and market studies
? Explore conference opportunities and occasionally attend conferences
? Ensure continuity of marketing collateral and presentations; prepare materials, and propose future events
? Develop ideas for promotional events and partnerships
? Oversee website content to ensure branding synergies
? Explore advertising and media opportunities
? Work closely with public relations and expat communities
Qualifications:
? Fluent English language skills
? Native Chinese Mandarin skills
? Previous Marketing or Communications experience beneficial; Media / Online Media field preferred
? Creativity, excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and willingness to learn
? Previous experience editing, drafting press releases and newsletters
? Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
? Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
? Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
? Organized and logical approach to daily tasks.
