Our client in China
Our client is a reputable European 3PL that provides its clients with logistics solution, supply chain management and transportation solution services .
In China it is experiencing rapid growth . Currently a large percentage of its clients are in the fresh/frozen food industry and its dry goods business is growing fast as well. It is looking to double its work force in China within the next couple of years
Essential Responsibilities :
Position: Warehouse Director
Location: Shanghai
Report to: Operations Director
· Manage multiple warehouses in Shanghai and surrounding cities. Each warehouse has a warehouse manager that reports to the Warehouse Director
· Work closely with each warehouse manager to ensure smooth operation of all aspects of running 3PL warehouses: inbound, put away, pick, packing, outbound, inventory management, on-time delivery and etc.
· Multiple clients’ inventory within the same warehouse . Key is to promote and ensure safety of operation and quality of service
Job Experience :
· Three to five plus years of managing multiple warehouses.
· Experience in distributing fresh/frozen food products preferred.
· Experience in distributing dry goods such as beer/wine also a plus
· Experience in delivering to retailers in Shanghai and surrounding cities
· Must be able to speak and write English professionally
Compensation Package :
· Base salary plus bonus. Company car.
