JOB PURPOSE:
Develop new customers to achieves quantitative and qualitative sales objectives and maximize sales volume.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
-Works independently to develop new business.
-Take leads for sales contacts, events and activities.
-Communicate regularly by phone and email to provide information on specific issues, sales, product information, and general economic and business issues.
-Takes part in negotiations of major contracts, developing personal contacts with major clients.
-Supports the development and implementation of annual marketing plan, sales strategies, objectives and special sales projects.
-Assists in developing sales budget associated with targeted markets.
-Advises management on customer trends and feedback.
-Attends trade shows, conducts sales missions, familiarization tours and site visits to solicit convention/meeting business.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: bachelor degree or above, Management, Business Administration or Marketing field. An overseas degree in will be a major plus.
Experience: Must have at least 2 years of sales experience with tractable performance achievements. Same/ similar industry experience is highly preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
-Must have good presentation, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
-Strong business acumen and good analytical ability is required.
-Must be fluent in verbal and written English. Second foreign language is preferred.
-Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Comfortable with team-based work structure; ability to demonstrate flexibility on the job.
-Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility.
-Must be able to multitask efficiently in a fast passed environment.
