We seek a talented overseas national and native English speaker based in Shanghai to work on research and investigation projects.
The projects include discreet investigations into business issues, companies and people. In addition to conducting research and investigation as a member of a project team, the job also involves substantial report writing in English, often handling Chinese source material as well as English material from non-native English speakers and writers.
It is anticipated that the job would eventually lead to Senior Analyst and Project Manager with some responsibilities for directing projects and resources including supervision of staff and associates, involvement in client interaction and admin matters, ensuring adherence to operational procedures and deadlines, conducting market research and product development as required, and actively seeking new business opportunities for the firm.
We are looking for a mature young professional ultimately capable of growing into a more senior role.
This position is suitable for a university graduate with a minimum of 3 years working experience, including exposure to business processes and working in China. Candidates must have a degree in Chinese, be fluent in both the Chinese & English languages, have flawless English report writing and editing skills, be outgoing, versatile communicators, able to “think outside the box”.
They must have a good knowledge of business, an ability to grasp and analyse issues fast and respond to challenging situations, show a strong eye for detail and the ability to report findings accurately.
