We are looking for two Product Design/Quality Engineers to support our consulting clients in the home decor business. One position requires extensive knowledge of plastic injection molding, extrusion and surface finishing as applied to housewear item production. The other requires extensive knowledge of metal forming, casting and other metalworking processes along with finishing. Both will be involved in product design, coordination of production and quality engineering in various supplier locations in Asia and in conjunction with our client's US Headquarters staff.
Must haves:
1. BS degree in Industrial design or mechanical engineering
2. At least 5 years of experience in the design and manufacturing of home decor products or related, specifically metal or plastic
3. Fluent in both English and Mandarin (R,W,S)
4. Capabilities in Solidworks, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
5. Knowledge of modern manufacturing processes and up to date quality programs and metrics
