This position is responsible for the design of conveyor projects for Asia Pacific and US.
Job Responsibilities:
? Prepare conceptual design and layouts
? Prepare detailed design drawings
? Specify or design required components using 2D and 3D solid modeling systems
? Design fully assembled system and prepare assembly, layout and installation drawings
? Conduct design reviews
? Direct and coordinate with electrical and controls designer as necessary
? Create “Bill of Materials” for projects
? Occasional support installation and troubleshoot arising problems
? Successfully completes assigned projects, both technically sound and within quoted costs.
? Prepares “As-Built” drawings to close out project
? Is able to work late in the office for interactions with overseas colleagues and customers
? Occasional field visits to perform site surveys and confirm information necessary for proper design and integration with existing conditions and equipment
Your Profile:
? Fluent English language skills
? Industrial machine design experience required
? Sheet metal design experience required
? Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
? Conveyor systems experience a plus
? 3D Modeling experience utilizing SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor solid modeling software
? Computer proficiency in software essential to job performance
? Mobility to move around the facilities and access job site equipment locations.
? Good interpersonal skills, ability to interface with customers
The position is based in the Shanghai Office and reports to the Asia Pacific Engineering Manager. Interested candidates should send a short summary of related work experience and motivation to the HR department.
