About Consulate General of Canada in Shanghai |
The Consulate General Canada in Shanghai is looking for a full-time Senior Regional Manager for Export Development Canada (EDC). The selected candidate will work out of the Canadian Consulate in Shanghai.
Preferred starting date: July 2011
Essential requirements: University degree in business or finance (MBA or Masters Degree or combination or relevant education and experience). Minimum 7-10 years experience in a senior role in a financial institution with experience in commercial/corporate lending and deal structuring. Solid knowledge of international capital markets with a focus on China and credit risk management tools. A strong cultural knowledge of the Chinese business environment. A well developed multi-sectoral business network. Professional level of written and spoken Mandarin and English is required. Ability to travel in China as well as in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and to Canada as required.
Asset: While not essential, knowledge of French would be an asset.
