Ammex seeks a top shelf, highly motivated Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a great attitude, deep experience & high energy level to lead our expansion in the China domestic market.
Ammex is a leading supplier of disposable gloves & health, hygiene & safety products in North America (www.ammex.com) and China (www.cn.ammex.com). Business is exceptionally strong and sales are growing off the charts. Ammex seeks a COO with exceptional organizational skills, strong leadership & coaching skills and the ability to effectively guide an energetic, young and growing team through hyper-growth.
We are seeking a COO who has the skills, maturity and desire to evolve into the Ammex China CEO role over 12-30 months. Ammex seeks a COO who can lead and coach a dynamic, energetic and growing team!
POSITION DESCRIPTION, SKILL SETS & REQUIREMENTS :
*Senior leader with a great attitude, acute attention to detail and outstanding leadership skills;
*Initiate projects that improve operational efficiency & company profitability;
*5-10 years of proven OPERATIONS, procurement, supply chain and leadership roles;
*Superior negotiation skills;
*Assumes ownership of role and completes work with minimal supervision & w/out prompting;
*Possesses a strong “ can do” get it done attitude;
*Strong drive, self motivation and attention to detail;
*Lead, coach and grow teams from different cultural backgrounds while interacting with senior team members across Ammex;
*Strong understanding of China domestic business culture.
*Mandarin – Must be fluent and able to read, write and communicate effectively @ a native level;
*Strong verbal and written English skills;
*Ideally 3-8 years of DOMESTIC SALES EXPERIENCE – Ammex sells in the domestic market so an understanding of wholesale type sales to food processing, industrial, pharma, medical, jan/san and other channels is a must;
*Born in China w/some overseas education or training is extremely important.
SALARY, BENEFITS & LOCATION :
*Based in Pudong full time;
*Some travel around China is required;
*Salary & Benefits – Negotiable – Right candidate will receive handsome compensation that includes salary, performance bonuses & other benefits.
