SALARY: PRC NATIONAL SALARY SCHEDULE
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Secretary will assist the Summer Program Director in all aspects of setting up and coordinating the Summer School Program.
SUPERVISED, EVALUATED BY & REPORTS TO:
Summer Program Director
QUALIFICATIONS:
? Excellent communication skills, ability to work cooperatively with the Students, administrators, and faculty.
? Ability to represent SAS in a professional manner.
? Be self-motivated and able to organize and prioritize work with minimal direction
? Comfortable in situations where constant changes frequently occur.
? Experience in a school or office setting coordination activities, budgets, orders, purchase, student registration, telephone answering and email inquiries.
? Knowledge and use of advanced application pertaining to word processing and spreadsheets.
? Ability to speak and write fluently in both English and Chinese is preferred.
PARTIAL LISTING OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Performs secretarial and clerical duties as required.
- Works effectively with teachers, parents and students.
- Creates a rapport with all members of the SAS community.
- Dresses appropriately for meeting the public.
? Types and duplicates letters, bulletins, forms and reports.
? Assists in the co-ordination of the Summer School Program.
? Assists in processing student applications.
? Assists in processing and tracking tuition and fee payments
? Assists in managing the Summer Program budget
? Assists in preparing the housing for all incoming summer school teachers.
? Assists in allocation of survival kits for all summer school teachers.
? Assists in organizing the transportation schedule.
? Assists in allocating classroom supplies.
? Monitors student attendance.
? Translate documents when required.
? Assistants with program website information.
? Responsible for ordering office and classroom supplies.
? Performs other duties as assigned.
