CHaINA Magazine, a business magazine published by the Global Supply Chain Council, is seeking a full time graphic designer to support our editorial team in page layout, design and creative ideas. Must have a background is Adobe InDesign. Must have a good eye for color and design, able to put the needs of an article into graphic format.
Responsibilities will include
- Article layout for our main bi-monthly publication, CHaINA Magazine,
- Content management of the GSCC website,
- Banner construction on website
- Design of Magazine advertisements and promotional material
- Support/work with chief designer to make materials better/more interesting and graphically appealing
Candidate should have
- Working experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Html fluency and website experience
- Experience working with printing companies and in print material
- ability to design advertisements to client specifications
- Good communication skills (English and Chinese)
- Ability to work under pressure and support several projects
- Ability to listen to design needs, and offer ideas of their own
- Interest/experience in iPad and other tablet design layout a plus.
