Location: Shanghai, China OR Plymouth, Michigan, USA 

Report to: Global Talent Research Manager 

Purpose of the Role: Develop and maintain the critical talent pipelines for Johnson Controls AE North America Region, in order to support company’s future talent needs and improve overall recruitment efficiency in the region. 


Key Responsibilities: 

1. Establish a strong working relationship with Region HR Staffing, HR Business Partners and business leaders to understand regional talent strategies, gaps, priorities, and convert these information into the regional GTR plan 

2. Follow the identified GTR plan to build up and maintain the regional GTR talent pool in accordance with GTR working processes, KPIs and methodologies 

3. Establish a long term relationship with GTR candidates and make sure that candidate information in the database is up to date 

4. Identify and implement various candidate sourcing methodologies in the region and evaluate their effectiveness 

5. Leverage internal and external resources across different functions, regions and business units to strengthen the NA Region talent pool 

6. Other tasks as per manager’s request 


Key Requirements: 

1. Bachelor’s Degree or above; 
2. Experience from international search firm/recruitment agency is a must; 
3. A self-starter, able to work independently and drive things forward; 
4. Very strong communication and interpersonal skills; 
5. Good reporting and presentation skills; 
6. Result driven, persistent, detail-oriented and comfortable to work against deadlines; 
7. Able to work flexible hours;
