On behalf of our client, the ICSEM (International Centre for SMEs) is urgently looking for a Merchandiser in the outdoor goods and furniture industry business.
Position: Merchandiser for outdoor products
Company type: Trading Company (WFOE)
Location: Shanghai, People’s Republic of China
Starting date: February
Languages: Chinese native, fluent English in speaking and writing
Educational requirements:
- High school certificate or upper level of education
Experience & competencies:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience; sourcing, hard metal goods, outdoor products and outdoor furniture
- Understanding the requirement and able to source efficiently
- Knowledge in foreign trade
- QC experience preferred
- Age under 30 years old
Job description:
- Sourcing for outdoor goods
- Manage and organize order to factories
- Manage and maintain the relationship with suppliers
- Reports to Operations Manager
- Travel required
Personal Attributes
- Strong negotiation skills, open minded, self motivated, problem solving skills
- Able to work well and able to keep good relationship with colleagues and suppliers
- Fluent English in speaking and writing
- Willing to learn, hard working, respect authority and roles
