Position Summary
IBI Group in Beijing is involved in many large scale projects around China and is seeking to hire a qualified design oriented Architect and planner .
The candidate should have a capacity to develop architectural and planning solutions in a variety of context and carry the design process from concept to design development. He would also be asked to travel to meet clients for project presentation and assist in marketing representation for company.
Position: Senior Urban Planner
Job Description:
1. Independently fulfill the planning design work.
2. Provide the effective suggestion of planning conception、planning for market exploiting、planning approach、management structure etc.
3. Capability of project planning、market positioning and preparation for all relative materials, and assist in selection and optimization for the design option.
4. Collect and organize the classic design materials from domestic and abroad; analysis for its developing tendency.
5. Understand the scope of work and clients requirements
6. In charge of the comment and modification for the design work during the process.
7. Strong design skill, no need to take the management responsibilities for the team Management, it is because the language problems with the clients
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree of architecture/planning or above, with at least 7 years working experience.
2. Priority for the Certified Urban Planner.
3. Excellent communication with proactive working attitude
4. Familiar with the advanced technology of the construction industry in China and abroad.
5. Good command of the knowledge of urban planning,construction design etc.
6. Good command of AutoCAD、Photoshop sketch up and other graphic software etc .
7. Hard working, with great sense of responsibility and team cooperation.
8. Available for business trip.

-Review and analysis of site conditions and constraints
-Understand the scope of work and clients requirements
-Develop options and alternatives concepts for planning and architecture
-Organize and structure presentation materials
-Meet client and officials for presentations
-Strong design skill, no need to take the management responsibilities for the team Management, it is because the language problems with the clients
Qualifications:
-Bachelor of architecture or above
-From 5 to 10 (or more than) years experience
-Creative and design oriented
-Good communication skills
-Good graphic communication, (use of hand drawings and/or any graphic software)
-Use of main design and drawing software, (CAD, Sketch-up, Photoshop, etc…)
-Available for traveling
-Hard working
-Spoken and written English
-Westerner only
-Adaptable in quick and changing working conditions
-Team worker
