The day-to-day responsibilities include:
· Be in-charge of the design, implementation, maintenance and repair of iBase, “a database application that contains unique collaboration and search capabilities enabling the capture, management of data and the dissemination of actionable intelligence and insight in support of intelligence-led operations”
· Develop and design of database strategies
· Monitor and improve database performance and capacity
· Plan for future expansion requirements
The ideal candidate will also have:
· A Bachelor’s Degree or higher
· Proven database management skills
· An ability to work well with a multi-cultural team
· A strong commitment to meeting deadlines
· Keen attention to details
· An ability to respond quickly to changing work demands
· Microsoft Office applications proficiency
· Fluency in English and Mandarin languages
· Previous iBase experience , preferred
· Familiarity with China and Chinese business practices/culture and/or previous working experience in China, preferred
