The successful candidate will be from the UK, have 3 yrs + experience in China, speak some Chinese, have buying experience with suppliers and willing to settle in Hangzhou.
OTL exports everyday consumables to large UK supermarkets and has had an office of 15 staff in Hangzhou for 6 years.The job reports directly to buying director in the UK and you will manage a team of 6 in the office.
Main responsibilities include managing daily buying needs of the business, finding new products and following through from concept to order, managing the team of experienced buyers to meet deadlines and task completion. Visiting suppliers and trade shows and most importantly finding the best products for the best prices.
