Job Description:
1. All Sales & Marketing activities that pertain to the Industrial Sales Growth of HERC China.
2. Develop Industrial Rental Strategy & Marketing Plans for HERC China as well as assist in developing market specific sales plans.
3. Direct, support and train related local Account Sales Managers to achieve region, branch and personal objectives.
4. Communicate with Director of Sales, Business Development to ensure customer commitments and opportunities are captured.
5. Collaborate with National Accounts Team in other countries and Industrial Plant Services to develop global account business in China and globally for HERC.
6. Direct and participate in all customer appreciation programs.
7. Meet with top customers, assisting Sales Representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
8. Gain a personal relationship with the region's Top 10 accounts as it pertains to the Industrial business.
9. Communicate with region staff to ensure fleet requirements are understood.
10. Submit monthly report to Director of Sales, Business Development, recapping last month's activity, sales initiatives, successes, issues, market & competitive information.
11. Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field strongly preferred.
2. Five years of Sales Experience with at least two years in the area of Petrochemical, Manufacturing industry or Industrial related industries.
3. Experience in developing new business and growing revenues as well as the ability to build long term relationships with key accounts. Previous working experience in the MNC will be a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Knowledge of how external market conditions impact the construction industry.
2. Knowledge of construction equipment specifications, uses, and application.
3. Company processes, including credit, sales, and operations.
4. Successfully apply sales and customer service techniques and processes.
5. Effectively use oral and written communication skills.
6. People management and leadership.
7. Proficient in English and Mandarin Chinese.
8. Be flexible to travel at least 50% of the time. Ability to work independently. Creativity. Open minded to try new techniques and ways of doing business.
