The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Training new staff members
  • Managing shop team and all shop activities
  • Monitoring employee and department performance to ensure high productivity and compliance to company procedures and standards
  • Assist with daily business operations and ensuring high quality at all times
  • Strong computer skills especially with MS Excel Strong payroll and bookkeeping knowledge & experience
  • General administrative duties
  • Month end accounting processes including payroll and social contribution arrangements
  • Carrying out staff appraisals, managing performance and dealing with disciplinary issues
  • Writing reports
  • Other duties as required

Ideally the successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a F&B industry

Ability to work in a flexible, fast paced environment

Strong merchandising, retail and customer service focus

Experience in staff training & development

Attention to detail

Highly organised

Provide leadership to ensure objectives are achieved which includes coaching and feedback where necessary

Ability to demonstrate a structured approach to problem solving

Charismatic leader who can build and motivate a team

Ability to work independently without supervision

Ability to use own initiative

Ability to multi task

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Reliable and trustworthy

Outgoing personality
