About Shanghai Mankiewicz Innovative Coating Ltd. Co
As our company is not only selling products, but also emphasizes technical and design consulting, we are looking for a designer (male/female). The major work is in the field of automotive coatings, in addition selected projects in the aviation or railway industry will occur.
Main tasks are:
- Building and extending our relationships with designers of major international and Chinese automotive OEM (car) manufacturers and Tier 1 (system suppliers)
- Scouting for trends, developing colours and colour concepts
- Presentation of trends and colour to customers
- Consulting customers on automotive interior trends (from China and globally)
- Work together with sales and tech. service on company presentations and develop sales strategies
- Communicate design-trends to our German headquarters
The position requires the following:
- A relevant education in design, industrial design or arts - Very good English - At least 4 years experience in industrial/packaging design - Experience in a automotive-related field (e.g. interior auto textiles , leather) - Strong in communication, teamplayer - Interest in the technical side of coatings - Coating/paint experience would be an advantage - Experience in foreign countries/companies would be an advantage
