How the Course Works

Each module is hosted by a well-known expert in the field. The expert is a well-known author, researcher, or teacher trainer in English Language Training. The expert appears throughout the module delivering video presentations, PowerPoint presentations, and so on.
Longman Schools Shanghai is currently looking for an experienced TDI/TEFL trainer. This individual will be capable of monitoring Longman’s teaching staff’s progression thought-out the program. The participants’ main focus will be on the young leaner’s module. Our teachers will participate in both on line and in classroom training so the trainer must have extensive background in TEFL training.
Job Responsibilities
Deliver face to face workshops according to the schedule in the TDI Manual (2 hours / week for 12 weeks / course)
Prepare some additional materials based on the lesson plans TDI Manual provided
Prepare PowerPoint material based on lesson plans TDI Manual provided
Integrate TDI material with Longman schools pedagogy
Expand and develop lesson plans provided
Out of Class Activities
Assist the students understand the course material
Grade and give feedback on the written assignments
Provide on line support for assignments via e-mail
Maintain the on-line grading system
Maintain attendance registers
Give feedback at the end of each Unit to the Academic and Service Director
Qualifications:
Minimum of Bachelors Degree with TEFL or Linguistics focus
TEFL Certified, young leaner’s and added plus
Masters in Applied Linguistics (Preferred)
5 years relevant teaching experience
Good understanding of Chinese Education System
Excellent presentation skills
Salary: Minimum 15,000 RMB
