Expat General Manager – Factory Manager
Diamond Manufacturing – Southeast Asia
Your Mission :
? In this role you have full responsibility for the daily management of the operations of the plant. You will plan, control and direct the manufacturing operations to achieve expected production and quality levels and operational goals and targets.
? You translate policies, global objectives and long term goals, as defined by the company’s Board of Directors, into an efficient and successful manufacturing business- and action plan.
? Using a ‘hands-on’ approach and meticulous attention to detail you will coach and guide operational management in continuous improvement activities and in implementing change.
? You will perform general administrative responsibilities to guarantee the plant’s compliance with company policies and procedures.
? You will prepare and review weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on production and manufacturing requirements for the Board of Directors.
Your Profile :
? For this important senior management position we are looking for a solid and engaging personality with proven strong leadership, team-building and motivational skills achieved in both a manufacturing and general management capacity.
? As a Plant/Factory Manager in a production and manufacturing environment you are experienced in production, production control and Quality Management. You preferably have experience in running a plant with a workforce > 300 workers.
? You have an in-depth practical and conceptual knowledge of all steps of the diamond manufacturing processes and specific production tools.
? As a high-impact professional you demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, strong business acumen and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. You combine a pragmatic and result-oriented attitude with a strong strategic view and improvement awareness.
