Job summary: The Vice President of Manufacturing is responsible for overall leadership and performance of the Shanghai manufacturing operation. Functional oversight responsibilities include production, production planning, materials management, procurement, manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, quality control and facilities management.
Qualifications
· Bachelor degree or above in technical field or business required.
· Minimum ten years leadership experience in operations.
· Demonstrated experience managing multi-faceted projects in compliance with customer requirements, on time and on budget required.
· Experience implementing lean manufacturing (Demand Flow Technology, Lean, Toyota Production System, Six Sigma, Total Quality Control) methods and improvements required.
· General understanding of processes related to injection molding, circuit board assembly and test, stamping, machining, and printing required.
· Experience developing and working within structured quality assurance systems required.
· Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and superior communication skills.
· Proven leadership in cross functional technical projects.
· Ability to foster teamwork through active communication, listening, and customer service skills.
· Command skills in leading change, attainment of agreed upon goals and enforcement of corporate values and policies .
· Masters degree in business administration preferred. Experience in high technology electro-mechanical assembly operations preferred.
