Chief of Staff / Consultant
This is a newly created role and the ideal candidate will be an energetic, entrepreneurial go-getter with a strong interest helping to manage a growing professional services business in Asia.
The Chief of Staff will be the right hand to the President, acting as gatekeeper, and managing people, projects, and business development. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment and will be accessible 24/7, to mirror the working style of the President and the multi-time-zone international presence of the company’s clients. We are looking for candidates that are highly organized, detail oriented, polished, and professional. A high level of confidentiality is required. The candidates need to be proactive and project driven, with a ‘roll up the sleeves’ mentality and an ability and willingness to get into minute details of a given project as well as to oversee multiple projects and initiatives at a strategic level.
A Bachelor's Degree from a top 10 U.S. undergraduate program, and one year of relevant experience is required. Entrepreneurial experience, strategy consulting experience, Asian business and travel experience, and fluency in Chinese are all desirable. The candidate must already be living in China.
A two-year commitment is needed, at which point there may be further opportunities within the company or the incumbent may decide to enter a top MBA program, for which this position will provide excellent preparation.

Our Shanghai Office is located in a central location on Huai Hai Zhong Lu, adjacent to the Huangpi Nan Lu (Line 1) station and a block away from Xintiandi. The immediate vicinity of our office includes everything from the flagship Louis Vuitton, Apple, and Zegna stores, to coffee shops and street side vendors selling delicious Shanghainese dumplings.
