AVIC Commercial Aircraft Engine Co, Ltd (ACAE) was founded on 18th January, 2009. ACAE is one of the subsidiaries of Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC). It is a limited liability company with a Board of Directors, AVIC, Shanghai Electric Corporation and Shanghai Guosheng Group, with registered capital of 6 billion RMB.
AVIC is an ultra large state-owned enterprise and an investment institution, authorized and managed by the Central People\'s Government. It has nearly 200 subsidiaries (branches) and over 20 listed companies and about 400,000 employees after reorganized from AVIC I and AVIC II. In July 2009, it becomes to be the first China aviation manufacture enterprise and China military enterprise entering into the world top 500.
