Meizhou would be considered as a small city, by Chinese standards, with an urban population of approximately 1.5 million and the overall population is approximately 4.5 million. Meizhou has the beautiful environment and is suitable for travelling and living. Public transportation is readily available and MeiZhou has many available amenities that western people would like to have.Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Shenzhen are all easily accessible via train or bus. The University covers an area of 80 hectares with building area of 370,000 square meters. The University has 1,050 teachers, more than 16,000 full?time students and 8499 adult students.
