大石桥市好仕外国语培训学校 Dashiqiao Haoshi Foreign Language Training School —————————————————————————————— Contract I. Party A__________wishes to engage the service of Party B________as an English teacher. The two parties, in a spirit of friendly cooperation, agree to sign this contract and pledge to fulfil conscientiously all the obligations stipulated in it. II. The period of service will be from the _____ day of ____, 2005 to the ____day of ____,2006. III. Party B's monthly salary is as mentioned in the appendix. IV. Party B's work assignment is as mentioned in the appendix , too. V. Party A's required duties are as follows 1. Party A shall introduce to Party B the laws, decrees and relevant regulations enacted by the Chinese government, the Party A's system and regulations concerning administration of foreign experts. 2. Party A shall conduct direction, supervision and evaluation of Party B's work. 3. Party A shall provide Party B with necessary working and living conditions. 4. Party A shall provide co-workers. 5. Party A shall pay Party B's salary regularly by the month. VI. Party B's obligations 1. Party B shall observe the laws, decrees and relevant regulations enacted by the Chinese government and shall not interfere in China's internal affairs. 2. Party B shall observe Party A's work system and regulations concerning administration of foreign experts and shall accept Party A's arrangement, direction, supervision and evaluation in regard to his/her work. Without Party A's consent, Party B shall not render service elsewhere or hold concurrent any post unrelated to the work agreed on with Party A. 3. Party B shall complete the tasks agreed on schedule and guarantee the quality of the work. VII. Revision, Cancellation and Termination of the contract 1. Both parties should abide by the contract and should refrain from revising, canceling, or terminating the contract without mutual consent. 2. Party B has the right to cancel the contract with a written note to Party A under the following conditions, (1) Party A has not provided Party B with necessary working and living conditions as stipulated in the contract. (2) Party A has not paid Party B as scheduled. VIII. The two appendixes of this contract are inseperated parts of the contract and have equal effect. IX. This contract takes effect on the date signed by both parties and will automatically expire when the contract ends. This contract is signed at Haoshi Foreign Language Training School , in duplicate, this ____day of____, 2005, in the Chinese and English languages, both texts being equally authentic. Work assignment 1. Be conscientious about the task at hand. 2. To be patient and flexible of the students' needs, requirements and questions. 3. Discussions with co-workers for improvisation and improvement of teaching resources and methods. 4. To take part in the school's activities and promotions. II. Salary The monetary salary is in the form of direct payment, being 4,500 RMB per month . III. Language lessons Will be given twice a week with an available teacher. IV. Air fares(based at economy class) Full reimbursement is given after finishing the contract. V. Work time and holidays 1. Six hours per day, five days per week, with two consecutive days off during the week. 2. The employee is entitled to the following holidays and festivals whilst in China. (1) Two days for Christmas (2) Two days for New Year's Day (3) Spring Festival---Chinese New Year(one week) (4) Two days for May Day (5) Two days for China's Day (6) Employed party under one-year contract is entitled to a one-week annual paid vacation. VI. Accommodation The accommodation is supplied in the fashion of a furnished room/apartment with amenities, with availability to laundry facilities. Meals are supplied for lunch and evenings. VII. Transport The school supplies and covers all costs of transport for work purposes. This appendix has equal validity of the standard contract and comprises an integral part of the contract.
